James and his team were all very friendly, provided helpful advice and insight where we lacked experience The regular updates regarding cost were re-assuring during the high inflationary six-month period the build spanned, and allowed us to make informed decisions as the renovation progressed. The quality is fantastic and we’re really happy. Even when the project was finished, members of James’ team made themselves available to respond to our questions.

Kitchen installation and building works
The Brannan team were a pleasure to work with. James helped us greatly in our early decision-making and managed the project efficiently. His team were friendly, helpful, tidy and did a great job all round. A couple of things went wrong during the project, but James took responsibility and sorted them without argument or undue delay. Exactly what you want in those circumstances. Cannot recommend Brannan Carpentry highly enough. I only hope James has time to fit us in for future projects!
Extension and shower / utility room
This Company is extremely professional and conscientious, the job was an extension comprising of a new kitchen and dining area, the work from foundations to final decoration and kitchen installation, the standard of workmanship is outstanding and all trades where very respective of me and my home. Also a shower and utility room was built where the old kitchen was and again the standard of workmanship is exceptional. I handed the whole project over to James Brannan who managed it with efficiency making sure all my requests were met. This was an excellent experience. Thank you to all trades.

After a long search, decided on James and his team to do some long overdue building work. Scope of works involved replacement of a flat garage roof/wraparound porch (to pitched/tiled) and sorting out/replacing an extension roof. Groundwork, bricking, carpentry, roofing and electrics over a three to four week period. James just exudes calm. The patience of a saint, really. His team of guys are just brilliant. End result exceeds expectation. 10/10

This company was a gem of a find. Complete kitchen renovation was carried out, including the removal of a wall, doors and windows. Following which they installed all new kitchen units and appliances. All workmen were friendly, efficient, professional and carried out the work to a very high standard. They were a pleasure to have in the house and cleaned up resultant building debris at the end of each day. Help and advice was given when any unforeseen issue arose. I would have no hesitation in recommending James and his team for all aspects of building and carpentry works.
Building a garden room to replace a conservatory
James and team are outstanding and we are absolutely thrilled with the final product. Without James the work would probably have never got off the ground. No problem was too big or small and James was flexible and proactive. Emails and texts were always answered immediately. All of the teams working on the project were excellent, from the ground work to electricals, plaster and carpentry. I really can't rate them highly enough, we had no issue at all and would recommend.

Single story kitchen extension with panoramic sliding doors.
James and his team have just completed a single story extension for us with large sliding doors. The experience from start to finish has been exceptionally positive. From the very start James was willing to invest time in discussing the project and offering suggestions from similar jobs. This was really useful as sometimes our big ideas might have been somewhat impractical. Next was a great estimate with simple summary but plenty of detail attached. Once we got underway there were regular consultations on progress, issues and resolutions, budget implications etc. We always felt informed and in control. James's team were all super professional; on time, friendly, high quality workmanship, and always an attempt to tidy up at the end of the day. When we reviewed the completed project there were very few snags and all were addressed immediately. Best of all the final bill was almost exactly to estimate. Kitchen - Above and Beyond
We are really happy to leave a review for Brannan Carpentry. James, Duncan and the team (electrician, plumber and the plasterers) have delivered a dream kitchen for us. From first meeting to final cleanup we have been impressed by their professionalism and most importantly by the quality of the actual work. We had the old kitchen ripped out, a wall removed and a completely new kitchen installed. The final results are so far beyond what we were expecting. It really is a lovely kitchen and the finish is just so beautifully sharp. The team were considerate of us as homeowners and when we had to ask them to hold up the work for a week due to a problem not of their causing, the guys took it in their stride and were able to work around our revised schedule. I honestly cannot praise them highly enough.
Home Extension Project
James was fantastic to work with throughout our 3 month extension work. James and his team built us a 4 meter rear extension with a 3 meter side wraparound. The work went relatively without a hitch; any problem that were encountered were oversights on the part of the architects. James dealt with this issues with very effective solutions and estimated build time was only minimally affected. Overall James and his team were consistently polite, punctual and considerate, achieve everything we asked of them and more and delivered exactly what we envisioned while minimising disruption to us as far as possible for the duration of the work. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. They were really considerate and were friendly towards our 2 year old as well.

Great customer service from initial enquiry through to completion of the job. All the trades who worked on the job were great. Always polite, respectful, prompt & professional. We are highly delighted with our new kitchen.
Excellent efficent team
James and Duncan worked continuously from 7.30 to 4 each day always leaving things as tidy as possible at the end of the day and hoovering as they went along. They are really nice chaps to have around and we had no qualms about leaving the house in their hands when we went out. We were always consulted on any areas of doubt or details. Their subbies were all equally pleasant to have around. Can definitely recommend.

After witnessing my parent's build and friends kitchen project completed by Brannan Carpentry we knew we'd found the people for our own project and they didn't disappoint. Skilled workers, outstanding project management, they were all friendly, courteous and tidy, they made it easy for us and the experience has been very positive. The build had a complication due to waste sewer placement and James was able to quickly organise solutions and kept us updated on quote adjustments as well as those for extra deep footings. We added extras as the build progressed and they were able to quickly meet the demands. We are absolutely thrilled with our stunning family room and re-roofed side extension.
